The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 (“the 2020 Regulations”) came into force on the 4 April 2020.

 

The 2020 Regulations enable parish councils to hold remote meetings (including by video and telephone conferencing for a specified period until May 2021).

5.         To receive and approve recommendations from the Finance Working Party.  Recommendations circulated to all councillors regarding:

 1. Application of Grants of £500 to:

·         The Village Hall to assist with the maintenance of the Amenity Field

·         The PCC to assist with the maintenance of the Churchyard

·         Chew Valley Plants Trees

2. Request from PCAA for funding

3. Internet Banking and signatories to the Parish Council bank account.

4. To commence the budgeting process for 2021/22

5. To receive confirmation of approval and signed bank reconciliations for

·         April, May, June and July 2020

 6.   To receive a report and update regarding the retirement of the Clerk and vacancy.

1.         To consider and comment on the following B&NES Planning Decisions received:

     ·         20/01218/FUL – Greenacres Farm, Bristol Road, Compton Martin, Proposal for a retrospective stable conversion to a garage/granny annex following extant planning permission re 04/00747/FUL – Mr Hanna - REFUSED

 

2.   To receive a report from the Planning Working Party and consider their recommendations regarding the following Planning Applications.

 ·         20/02737/FUL Mr and Mrs Matthews – Erection of a stable block for equestrian use incidental to the enjoyment of the dwelling.
