COMPTON MARTIN PARISH COUNCIL
PARISH GRANT SCHEME
Compton Martin Parish Council only makes grants to organisations working for the community of Compton Martin. Grants will not be made to individuals or commercial organisations.
Grants are made out of money provided by the council tax payers of Compton Martin and for that reason only grants of £500 or less will be considered.
Grants will normally be made at the July Parish Council meeting. Applications for grants must be received by the Clerk by the end of May.
Groups may only bid once a year.
Grant applications will be in the form of a letter, on official letter heading, providing:
1. A detailed description of the project and who will benefit from it
2. What contribution would you like from the parish council
3. Set out any other funding received for this project
4. Enclose a set of the organisation’s most recent set of accounts.
Grant recipients are requested to attend the Annual Parish Meeting to explain how the funds were used.
