Jane has lived in Compton Martin for over 30 years.  She was asked to take over the Clerkship in 2006 having previously been the Clerk between 1984 -1988. Over this period she has seen many changes in both the job as Parish Clerk in terms of its complexity and demands and parish councillors who have ranged from the late Leoni Hamilton and Charles Cranfield, though two generations of the Curry family to the current incumbants.
